TABU
Through-dyed wood veneer and three-dimensional surfaces, Italy
About TABU
TABU (Italy) produces wood veneer dyed through its full thickness, plus inlay collections. Species are selected for sustainability, cut with latest-generation laser technology, hand-assembled to follow each species' natural figure, and backed onto FSC-certified non-woven tissue. The Groovy range lifts veneer into three-dimensional bas-relief, giving depth to a flat surface.
Why Terra Nova chose it
—Dyed through the thickness — a scratch does not expose raw pale wood.
—FSC non-woven backing makes application easy and keeps sheets consistent between batches.
—Custom patterns produced to an architect's drawing.
