This is the experience we want a lounge corner to offer.</p><h2 id="what-gives-ray-lounge-its-relaxed-character">What gives ray lounge its relaxed character?</h2><p>Brunner describes organic, wing-like lines and an angled sitting position. Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub work from Stuttgart, Germany. Each subsequent design was treated as an individual, connected to the others through its silhouette. The manufacturer documents cited here do not establish a stingray as the direct inspiration. Brunner ray lounge should also be distinguished from unrelated chairs called Ray by other brands.</p><h2 id="high-back-low-back-or-an-ottoman">High back, low back or an ottoman?</h2><strong>The high back</strong>, with an overall height of 1,000 mm, is Terra Nova’s suggestion for a reading corner, a private reception setting or a position that needs a clear focal point. Consider the view from the entrance and behind the chair, especially beside a window.<strong>The low back</strong>, at 750 mm overall, leaves more open sightlines within a conversational group. It offers another spatial expression of the same design language.<strong>The ottoman</strong> adds a place to rest your feet and is specified separately. There are three corresponding base types. A view towards a window can give the setting a natural focus. Where a swivel model is selected, check its actual turning clearance; the overall dimensions in the table do not replace this check.</p><p>In a <strong>hotel lounge or reception area</strong>, a high-back chair can anchor a seating group while lower chairs preserve sightlines. Choose upholstery for its intended use, cleaning routine and project documentation requirements before settling on colour. Fire performance, abrasion resistance and certification must be checked against the exact material and quoted configuration.</p><p>In a <strong>private office</strong>, the chair can create a place to pause or meet away from the desk. This is Terra Nova’s suggestion for more informal conversations.
